  • Founder

    A Western North Carolina native that has spent the last ten years in and out of the Bicycle Industry after college. She’s now the general manager at Earth Mountain Bicycle. Her Dad bought her first road bike for her 14th birthday. A Trek 1000 road bike. It was love at first sight. Caitlin worked at Earth Mountain’s sister shop Pee Dee Bicycle in Myrtle Beach, SC and Mellow Johnny’s in Austin, Texas. When Caitlin isn’t riding or hiking the local trails, she’s tending to her chickens or working in her garden. She’s excited to be back in the mountains where she’s only three miles from endless mountain biking, gravel riding, hiking, and backpacking adventures.

  • Service Manager

    I was raised in Hendersonville, NC, where I grew up playing soccer and basketball. However, due to some injuries later in life, I transitioned to biking and immediately fell in love with it. I have worked in sales and hospitality since high school, and in 2018, I started working for Trek/In shops and have never looked back. I have some experience in XC racing and am now planning to take on all the adventure races that Pisgah has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy family rides, hiking with my two pups Shark and Juni, and I'm an avid Lego collector and lover of scary movies.


  • Jim and Dana are often behind the scenes helping to make it happen on a day-to-day basis from our sister location, Pee Dee Bicycle, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Their love for biking adventures and entrepreneurial spirit is what led them to discover a need in both areas for a local independently owned bike shop that was different from the norm. Dana’s passion and career in marketing and sales along with Jim’s out of the box thinking was a perfect match to help open Earth Mountain with Caitlin and LeRoy.

  • Although these sweet boys have crossed the rainbow bridge, they will forever be a part of the Earth Mountain family. Some of our fondest memories are Tebow opening packages or stealing trash from the bathroom, and Tanner laying on the front steps soaking up the sun.

  • Marketing/Floor Manager

    Born and raised in Brevard, Chris grew up riding and racing in Western NC. Going to school in Virginia started touring the country with music, playing with various bands and gigs professionally. Now back in Brevard, his love for mountain bike riding got him back on the saddle and between the tape. He works on the sales floor and serving up some brews and beer in the cafe. Be ready to talk bikes and music!

    Between working at the shop on the sales floor and touring around the country you can find Chris ready to shred some local trails!

  • The official shop dogs of Earth Mountain and our most trusted employees. Loyally greeting every customer at the door whether they have two legs or four. When they’re not at work they enjoy monitoring their flock of chickens, hiking with their humans, or tracking down Eli & JoJo treats.
